We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with Izumida Lee, a talented female painter from Hokkaido, Japan. With a passion for drawing since childhood, Lee started to learn painting while studying in the United States. She moved to Tokyo in 2015 and made her debut as a painter in 2019. Focusing on acrylic paintings, she also draws pictures and letters used for signboards, promotional art, and windows.
Lee's style is characterized by simple, lyrical yet powerful lines that exude a sense of smooth movement and delicate emotions. She draws inspiration from nature and animals, imbuing her works with a strong vitality and authenticity.
This winter, initial has joined hands with the painter to launch a collaboration collection, featuring her swan painting as the signature print. The collection includes a variety of essential winter items such as kimono jacket, long skirt, hoodie, shirt and knitwear, all embodying an elegant beauty and peaceful atmosphere with a vibrant touch.
